FREE family-friendly community event. Come to the Bo Diddley Downtown Plaza Sunday Sept 3rd from 4-10 to see how local business and community help each other succeed!

They hold a dollar raffle each year with awesome prizes: dinner, artwork, theatre tickets, jewelry, soap, haircuts, clothes, massage and more. Award the “Labor Daze Local Responsible Business Award.” 5 local bands entertain for 5 hours. Kids hula hoop and the UF juggling club juggles, unicycles, and stilt-walks. There are puppeteers and wandering minstrels.
Recent years include a free rock wall for the kids, and massages for the adults. They also have services for working families, so that when they leave they have more tools to deal with life than when they arrived.
