Vote by Mail: To have a Vote by Mail Ballot mailed to you, please call our office at 352-374-5252 no later than 5pm on March 8th, the sixth day prior to the election. All ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Election Office no later than 7pm on March 14th, Election Day. Your ballot may not count if your signature does not match the signature on your voter record. You may update your signature at any time by submitting a completed voter registration form to our office. These forms are available on our website, or at many locations in the county including our office. Please mark the box for record update, and remember, all signature updates must be received by our office by the beginning of canvassing to be used for this election. Early Voting: The City has designated three Early Voting sites for this election; The Supervisor of Elections office at The Josiah T. Walls Building, at 515 N Main Street, Gainesville, the Millhopper Library, 3145 NW 43rd Street, Gainesville, and Cone Park Library, 2801 E University Avenue, Gainesville. Early Voting will begin on Monday March 6th and end on Saturday, March 11th. Early Voting will be open from 9am-5pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and from 10am-6pm Tuesday and Thursday. Election Day: Voting at the Polls. On Tuesday, March 14th, the polls will be open from 7am-7pm. Please remember, Florida Law requires that you vote in the precinct of your residence, and that you provide a current and valid picture and signature ID or you will need to vote a provisional ballot.
